Tabitha Farmer Back in Jail

A woman arrested earlier this year for allegedly ramming her SUV into a shopper is in trouble with the law again.

On Monday, Dothan Police say they pulled over 24-year-old Tabitha Shea Farmer in the 2400 block of Fortner Street.

Officers say when they searched the vehicle they discovery a glass pipe and 35 millimeter film canister containing a white crystal powder.

The powder was sent to the forensic lab for analysis and tested positive for methamphetamine.

Back in January, Farmer was arrested for murder and child endangerment after she allegedly ran into Larry Downing with her SUV at the Southern Family Market on West Main Street.

Police say Farmer had marijuana in her system and her 2-year-old in the car at the time of the accident.

Farmer turned herself in Thursday.

She is being held in the Houston County Jail on $10,000 bond.

I somewhat agree with Lashanda! If you found the stuff in her car on MONDAY, why was she allowed to "turn herself in" on THURSDAY?!?!?! A lot could have happened in those few short days!

Re: Brett Anthanie. I hope you're not the best speller in your family. After reading your response, I'm not sure your name is spelled right.

I feel that tabitha should be held responsible and serve time in jail.could sound harsh but she indanger her childs life and took someone's life.and frankly i think that the officer that let her go should be FIRED...WhAT IS WRONG WITH THE JUSTICE SYSTEM HERE IN DOTHAN? They would rather LOCK up a drug dealer for life but not MURDER!COME ON NOW...WHAT IS WRONG I GUESS MONEY TALKS HUH?

I think and my family agrees that Tabitha Shea Farmer should instead of being loked up for any amount of time should instead be alouded to go to rehab for her problem of whatever because her state of mind is not right at this time and it would not be beafecial for her to be incarsarated at this time.
