Troy Police Make Armed Robbery Arrests

One man and a juvenile have been arrested in Troy. Police say they are suspects for two armed robberies.

20-year-old Earl Oscar McNeil III was arrested at a residence in Luverne.

Police say McNeil robbed the Bee Line convenience store on south Brudidge Street on February, 16th and the BP station on the Elba Highway two days later.

Troy police say there are two additional armed robberies and a first-degree rape that also occurred in February that are pending on McNeil.

McNeil remains in the Pike County Jail under $50,000 bond.

A 17-year-old male has also been arrested in connection with the Bee Line robbery. He has been charged with robbery first degree.

He turned himself in to Troy Police Tuesday.

He is being held in the Pike County Jail with a bond of 10,000 dollars.
