More pre-trial motions are set for today in the Scott Peterson case.
Today the judge will decide if the jury should be sequestered during the entire trial, just during the deliberations, or not at all.
He'll also take up the issue of jury questionnaires to determine if Peterson can get a fair trial in San Mateo County, California. The defense has already been conducting phone surveys.
There's been a setback for the defense in the Peterson case. A 78-year-old witness has died of natural causes. Vivian Mitchell is one of three people who says she saw a pregnant Laci Peterson walking her dog on the morning of Christmas Eve 2002 -- hours after police allege Scott Peterson killed her and their unborn son.
