Saint Patrick’s Day is a little more than two weeks away, but a bit of the blarney stone could be found in northwest, Florida.
In Chipley, the Washington County Arts Alliance sponsored a free concert of Irish folk music.
The Muses is a three-member group that is on tour of the United States.
They play at mainly Scottish/Irish festivals and use traditional instruments like the mandolin.
"We bring Celtic music to places across the United States. From here we go to Colorado, then Seattle and Vancouver. They usually get us there for St. Patrick's Day," Matthew Gurnsey.
Many of the folk songs performed were initially protest songs written hundreds of years-ago against the British monarchy.
