A Daleville man charged with murder had his bond reduced to $25,000 Thursday.
Johnny William Draugh was arrested and charged with murder after he admitted to police he stabbed Ronald Miller in the left side of the chest with a kitchen knife.
Dale County’s district attorney recommended the maximum $50,000 bond for Draugh, but Judge Stanley Garner reduced it based on several factors including the defendant's felony-free history.
Dale County jailers say Draugh has not yet made his bond.
The minimum bond for a class A felony is $5,000.
