VA Clinic Resolution

Houston County Commissioners are showing support for the Circle City's VA clinic.

They say the clinic should stay where it is.

Federal VA officials want to move the clinic from Dothan to Fort Rucker.

The decision is causing an outcry because many veterans feel the drive will be too long and the lines too much of a hassle at the Fort Rucker security gate.

The commission will vote to adopt a resolution that will go to lawmakers.

That resolution will be in support of keeping the VA clinic in Houston County.

The clinic is contracted to stay in Dothan until March 2008.

Currently, a petition is going around changing that.
