GORDON, Ala. (AP) - Five family members face felony charges
after authorities say they assaulted eight people at the Gordon
boat landing on the Chattahoochee River.
Each is charged with assault with a golf club in the Aug. 30
attack. Investigators say the charges stem from a domestic-related
dispute that began on a sandbar in the river. No one was seriously
hurt.
Those charged are three sisters and two of their husbands. They
are: 34-year-old Nicklus Edwin Green and his wife, 32-yea-rold
Dusty Renee Long Green; 42-year-old Gregory Todd Gordon and his
wife, 35-year-old Tracey Long Gordon; and 39-year-old Emily
Michelle Erin Jarrard.
They were each taken to the Houston County Jail and held on a
$75,000 bond.
