A familiar name will be in the Wiregrass Thursday. Retired Marine Infantry Veteran Oliver North will hold a book signing at Fort Rucker.
North was a key player in the Iran-Contra Affair.
His book recounts his experiences as a war correspondent for the Fox News channel while the U.S. invaded Iraq.
North will be at the Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker this afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. He will sign his book, entitled "War Stories."
The public is invited to the event, which is sponsored by the Army Aviation Museum foundation.
