A suspect has been arrested, more than two years after robberies at two restaurants in the Florida Panhandle.
Thirty-eight-year-old Patrick Devon Baldwin was taken into custody at his home in Fort Walton Beach.
Baldwin is accused of robbing the McDonald’s restaurant on Eglin Parkway in Fort Walton on December 1, 2001 and the McDonald’s restaurant on Highway 98 in Destin on December 30, 2001.
Police say DNA from clothing that was discarded by Baldwin in both robberies matched his.
