Forty-three-year-old Timothy Wyatt Golden was arrested last month in Coffee County and charged with burglarizing six churches.
Thousands of dollars worth of equipment was taken and the churches were heavily damaged.
Golden was stopped in Ozark last week for driving a stolen truck with a stolen license plate from the town of Clio.
Police say they also found some methamphetamine inside the truck.
Golden is charged with possession of a controlled substance and eight counts of possession of a forged instrument.
