Two cases of guns causing damage at a local church; police are looking for answers.
Police say a rifle was used in the first shooting at Memphis Baptist Church. Three shotgun shells were found early Sunday morning as the pastor and congregation arrived for church.
Ernest O’Neal has been the pastor of the church for nearly 30 years, and says it will cost several thousand dollars to fix the shattered windows. “It's more damaging than three or four thousand dollars of money. It's the fact that somebody has such little respect for the place of worship,” he said.
Houston County investigators are trying to find those responsible for the shootings.
