Police Chase

A man in a stolen van lead Dothan Police on a 10-minute chase around 5 p.m. Saturday night.

Dothan police say the man, at one time, hip speeds up to 90-miles per hour. The driver sped through residential areas surrounding the downtown Dothan. The chase led police from Headland Avenue to Ross Clark Circle.

It even included a detour through the parking lot at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Police ended the chase at the corner of Galaxie Drive and Taurus Circle, but not before the suspect hit a car and a police cruiser.

Luckily, police say no one was hurt.

The suspect will now face charges in Houston County.
