An arrest has been made in connection with recent church burglaries in Coffee County.
Forty-one-year-old Rochelle Bozeman Greek and 43-year-old Timothy Wyatt Golden were arrested Tuesday. Both are from the Coffee County area.
Greek was charged with receiving stolen property and Golden with burglary and receiving stolen property. Both are out of jail on bond.
The Faith Chapel Community Church in the Perry Store Community was burglarized last Monday night. Nearly $5,000 worth of musical instruments and sound equipment was stolen.
The burglary also resulted in more than $100 damage to the building. Six rural churches had been broken into in the last two weeks. Coffee County Sheriff Ben Moates says 95 percent of all the stolen goods have been recovered.
