The Wiregrass Honor Flight board of directors met in Ozark to discuss plans for the next flight.
The plane leaves September 26th and will carry about 90-veterans and their guardians to Washington D.C. to visit the World War II Memorial.
Fort Rucker soldiers, the patriot guard riders and others will be waiting for the crew to land that evening.
The board has also come up with a more efficient way of handling the crowd at the Dothan Regional Airport.
"We want to make it as smooth as possible; our first flight went relatively smooth. We brought everybody home and that's good, and we want to make sure that it goes even better on our next two flights," said Jim McGhee with Wiregrass Honor Flight.
The board is also working on putting together one more local flight that will take off in April, 2010.
