DUI training to keep drunk drivers off streets
Area law enforcement officers are learning better ways to keep drunk drivers off our streets.

Area law enforcement officers are learning better ways to keep drunk drivers off our streets.
Around 50 officers took part in the enterprise highway safety office's DUI training course.
The course covered how handle first contact with a possible DUI and roadside procedure through the legal process.
"DUI is one thing that could hit anybody at anytime it's so important that the officers are trained in detection and be able to see it all the way through the process to make sure these DUI offenders are treated as they should be," says Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor Brandon Hughes.
Officers who took part in the training received continuing education units.
