MIAMI (AP) - Authorities don't know what caused a chemical explosion at an apartment building in Miami, but no one was injured.
Miami Fire Rescue spokesman Ignatius Carroll says at least 60 people had to be evacuated from several floors of the building.
The explosion opened a wall separating a bedroom and living room of one apartment. Carroll says a refrigerator in that unit had several glass bottles inside, with an apparent chemical inside.
It's not clear what it was, but the bomb squad and federal agents are at the scene investigating.
Other units in the building had water damage from the sprinkler system that went off around six this morning.
