Dothan dancer wins national title
A Dothan girl danced her way to a national title this month. Twelve-year-old Beth Ann Robinson, a student of Ashlie Wells at the Dothan School of Dance, has been named Junior Miss Dance of America.

A Dothan girl danced her way to a national title this month.

Twelve-year-old Beth Ann Robinson, a student of Ashlie Wells at the Dothan School of Dance, has been named Junior Miss Dance of America.

The Dance Masters of America competition was held on July 7th in Washington D.C.

The competition is 125 years old and this is the first time a girl from Alabama took the title.

"When I won, I was thinking 'wowI did it' I worked really hard to get this and I was so happy my hard work paid off" said Robinson.

Beth Ann gets to travel across the world this year and she gets a scholarship to come back to next's year's competition in San Antonio, Texas.
