A CSX train heading to Dothan from Montgomery flipped onto its side Sunday morning as six cars and one engine were derailed.
Police say the train was made up of 17 cars and three engines.
CSX officials were on the scene Monday investigating the incident and cleaning up any spills.
There were no injuries reported from the derailment.
Authorities say the train was not hauling any hazardous materials, although some fuel did spill from the engine.
It’s still not known what caused the derailment.
