PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) - Friday marks the one year anniversary of
the beating of a 14-year-old boy at a Bay County juvenile boot
camp.

A video surveillance tape captured guards kneeing, hitting and kicking Martin Anderson on January fifth, 2006. He died the following day.

Seven former guards and a former nurse have been charged with
aggravated manslaughter of a child. If convicted they could get up to 30 years in prison.

Anderson's parents and the NAACP will hold a service Friday morning in Panama City to commemorate the teen.
