Some people say they will not attend this year's fireworks show
In less than 24 hours organizers with this years fireworks show at the Peanut Festival Fairgrounds are hoping to see a slew of people walk through the gates.

Since 8 am Friday morning workers have been quickly getting things ready for Saturday’s 4th of July celebration.
Watering the slip and slide and securing inflatable slides but there is one thing they could be missing, people.
According to an online poll on our web channel, 67 percent of people say they are not going to attend these weekends’ festivities.
Fizzling out the excitement for event organizers like Kerry Farrell.
“The fireworks alone costs $12,000 so that's a tremendous amount of money,” said Ferrell.
And that's not even the total amount of what it costs to put on the event. At the end of the day, about $25,000 is shelled out.
There's more to the event than local vendors coming together and a 15 minute fireworks show. It is another way for the city to bring in more revenue.
Farrell said “Last year we gave back $30,000 to the community, not just from the 4th of July but from the others events that we do. If there was less attendance there would be less that we could give back to the community.”
Thankfully, there's still time for people to change their mind about going to the fairgrounds.
Events at the fairgrounds kick off at 10 and end at 10 Saturday night
The firework show will begin as soon as it gets dark.
