The town hall in Geneva is going through a complete makeover.
During the city council meeting construction crews hammered and drilled on the 40-year-old municipal complex.
It's all part of a $350,000 undertaking to replace the roof and upgrade the central heat and air-conditioning system.
Local funding is paying for most of the work that Mayor Karen Simmons says must be done.
"Difficult trying to find things under the tarps but they are doing most of the work at night. It’ll require a lot of patients over coming months from the employees and the public," said Mayor Simmons.
The project will be complete by early spring.
