Hartford Teacher Trial

A one-time teacher in the Wiregrass has been found not guilty on drug charges.

During the trial, Carolyn Henderson was cleared of possession of marijuana.

Last May, marijuana seeds were reportedly found in Mrs. Henderson's car, which was parked at Geneva County Elementary School in Hartford.

The 38-year-old was a third grade teacher at the school for nearly ten years.

Shortly after being suspended on the drug charges, Mrs. Henderson resigned.

She says justice has been handed down.

Besides losing her job, Mrs. Henderson says the drug charges forced her to lose custody of her children.

She now lives in Walton County Florida and is considering filing a civil suit.
