Alabama state troopers are reporting at least six traffic fatalities across the state over the weekend.

The death toll includes a Prattville woman who died in an Autauga County mishap early Sunday. The one-vehicle crash occurred shortly after 2 am on County Road 85, about a half mile north of Prattville. Troopers said a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Misty Walls ran off the road and overturned.

Two people were killed in separate accidents early Sunday morning in Talladega County. Troopers said 20-year-old Jorlandis Hartwell of Talladega died in a one-vehicle crash on Richeytown Road.

Another accident on Interstate 20 claimed the life of Dustin Charles Newsome of Springville. Troopers said the car he was driving ran off the interstate, about 11 miles east of Lincoln.

Both accidents happened shortly after 4 a-m Sunday.

The Department of Public Safety said traffic fatalities also were recorded in Mobile and Blount counties.
