One dead, one injured in Covington County crash
A two-vehicle accident in Covington County killed an Andulasia man and injured another.

A two-vehicle accident in Covington County killed an Andulasia man and injured another.
Investigators say 66-year-old William Barnes was traveling south on County Road 85 in his car when he was hit on the passenger's side of his vehicle by a truck driven by 35-year-old Christopher Watson of Andalusia.
Alabama State Troopers say their initial investigation indicates that Barnes was struck broadside after he failed to yield the right of way to the Watson who was traveling east on Alabama Highway 299.
Barnes was pronounced dead at the scene by Covington County Coroner Norman Hobson.
Watson was transported to the Opp Medical Center where he was treated for life-threatening injuries.
