Troy native, Bobby Jon Drinkard is already a local celebrity. His picture in Cosmopolitan magazine and role in survivor has many people around his home, calling him a household name. But even though he now works in troy, he hasn't left the entertainment industry. He can be seen in the upcoming movie, "We Are Marshall."

Drinkard plays the part of a wide receiver, jersey number 26, that dies in a plane crash along with the entire Marshall team. Although his role in the movie, was rather short-lived, news 4 was able to track it down so you know where to look to see him. You can see him on the plane, having a conversation with another player.

Another wiregrass native was also in the movie. You may know him as "Aubbie" the auburn university mascot from 2004-2006. But in the movie he changes uniforms and plays both Marco the buffalo and the Eastern Carolina University pirate.

On the credits the man with many masks will be called David Owen Smith. Smith is from Ozark. He says he had the time of his life in this role, and he would like to do other roles in the future.

The movie will be in theatres December 22.
