It seems every time you ride by the Target construction site on Highway 231, there's something different. That's because 90 percent of the project is already complete.

"Right now we have the flooring in, the windows installed; the building is waterproofed and sealed" says Donahue-Everett Project Engineer Anthony Marciente.

Also, there is heating and air, the building is painted, the grounds are landscaped and the parking lot is paved. Plus, the Starbucks Coffee inside the 130,000 square foot facility is almost complete.

The 30 crew members are working seven days a week, 12 hours a day to get the job done.

And, if you think this store has gone up quick management is looking to hire 150 employees within the next month-and-a-half.

Through the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center is the host site for job applicants looking to partner up with Target.

"There are a lot of people looking for jobs, looking for really good jobs and Target is a good employer" says David Duke with the Services Center.

This Target store will open with 25 other stores just like it, on March 11th.

Target will be accepting applications for hourly managers December 21st and 22nd at the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center.

On January 11th, 12th, and 13th management will be accepting applications for all other prospective employees.
