One Wiregrass city will see a bit of new Christmas spirit this year.
Enterprise city workers have put up more than $35,000 worth of new Christmas decorations.
It has been nearly 20-years since the town has made this type of investment.
Mayor Kenneth Boswell says it's important to bring a Christmas spirit to the downtown district.
He says with increased competition from surrounding cities, officials would like to see retail business stay at home.
"We felt it would promote shopping in Enterprise and put us in a shopping spirit and it can be enjoyed by parents and children, and really be enjoyed by all," said Mayor Boswell.
The new decorations can be seen during the annual Enterprise Christmas Parade, which is scheduled for next Tuesday night.
