A patient-organized petition in support of a northwest, Florida doctor will not be submitted at a Jackson Hospital Board of Trustees meeting.
Last September, Marianna Dr. Michael Gilmore had his clinical privileges suspended by the hospital.
The reason for the suspension has not been disclosed and is information exempt from Florida’s Sunshine Law.
The suspension does not affect Dr. Gilmore's medical license, and he is allowed to practice in any other facility.
The petition in support of the orthopedic surgeon will be presented at the December Jackson Hospital Board of Trustees meeting.
