A 6,000-pound granite monument containing an engraving of the Ten Commandments has been unveiled in Polk County Florida's government building.
But, a representative of the American Civil Liberties Union said the Polk County monument was quite different from the one Chief Justice Roy Moore placed in the Alabama judicial building.
Polk County's display is topped by a replica of the Liberty Bell. Four sides of its base are carved with quotes from documents, such as the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence and from U.S. historical figures such as John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.
It's unlike Alabama's monument where a replica of the Ten Commandments is the centerpiece.
