Family members die in car wreck during trip to Alabama
A Queens, New York couple and two children died in a North Carolina car wreck en route to a family reunion in Alabama.

A Queens, New York couple and two of five children died in a North Carolina car wreck en route to a family reunion in Clayton, Alabama.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol says 4 members of the family were killed Friday when their mini-van crossed the median and struck two other vehicles on Interstate 77 in Surry County, North Carolina.
Investigators believe the father behind the wheel feel asleep while driving around 9:00 a.m.
The New York Daily News reports the victims are father Wayne Pride-Hicks, 44, wife Natalie, 35, and children Wayne Jr., 10, and Natalia, 3.
The Daily News is reporting the family was taking the 21-hour trip to Clayton, Alabama so the Hicks' wife and children could meet his father for the first time.
A husband and wife struck by the family's car during the wreck are listed in critical condition.
