Area kids will have a chance to take to the skies Saturday.

The Enterprise-Ozark Community College and the Experimental Aircraft Association will hold a fly-in and hope house at the EOCC campus in Ozark.

The event includes a flight rally, free helicopter rides and parachute jumpers.

All kids who take the free flight will be entered into the "world's largest logbook" on permanent display at a museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

“Hopefully they'll have a good time, learn something about us, come back and see us again and enroll in the program,” said EOCC’s Technical Education Director Tom Kirk.

The fly-in and open house will be from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ozark aviation campus of EOCC.
