The city of Ozark and private sponsors are helping to reach out to one of its own, and are asking for your support.

They're holding a benefit concert tonight for Ozark resident Nic Boatwright who is fighting bone cancer.

The concert will feature country group Sean Nelson and the Road Dogs with special guest Shane Owens.

Boatwright was diagnosed in May with Ewings Sarcoma, a childhood bone cancer.

He is currently undergoing 12 treatments, and says he is thankful for all of the support.

“To have all my fans and friends come out and just have a good time: It's an emotional thing, but it's an awesome experience to have this for me tonight,” said Boatwright.”

The concert will run from 7:00 to 9:30PM Thursday night, and will cost $5 dollars.

Donations are welcome and are tax-deductible.
