One Dothan supply company is looking to expand its facility and open new jobs.
At a dedication ceremony on Monday, some of Alabama’s leaders were on hand to recognize the start of construction for Oncology Supply's expansion.
Oncology Supply is one of the largest deliverers of chemo-therapy and medical surgical products throughout the United States.
About 70,000 square feet will be added to the company's current operation, which is expected to bring in 40 new jobs.
"It really does showcase how diversified we are in our area. But also, this is a great project because in our state, we're investing a lot in research and biotechnology," says Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce President, Matt Parker.
The expansion is expected to be complete by April and will cost nearly $12 million dollars.
