10-13-06 - Nightmare on Elm Street is coming to the city of Troy and it's kicking off on what other night but tonight, Friday the 13th.

The Colley Senior Complex is sponsoring a haunted house tour for the next three weekends.

In the house guests will be spooked by Frankenstein, Freddy Kruger, and many other scary villains. There will even be a hands-on portion where visitors can feel "brains and eyeballs."

It costs $5 to get in and all the proceeds go to the Colley Senior Complex.

"We wanted to do something different, and there are not a lot of haunted houses or haunted forests or anything like that around Troy, so we wanted to give the people of the community an opportunity to support the Senior Center in a fun way," Janet Motes, Director of the Colley Senior Complex, said.
