Seniors around the wiregrass gathered together to discuss topics from healthy eating to criminal investigations.

The conference took place Friday and was designed for residents over the age of 50. During the session the Houston County Sheriff's Department made a presentation on crime scene techniques.

There was also information available on gardening, computer basics, and post September 11th travel. The Senior World programs are created to keep seniors knowledgeable about important issues in the area.

Senior World is always taking new members. If you are interested in participating you can contact director of the program, Michael Tew, at 983-0005.
