Wal-Mart's newest distribution center in Brundidge has begun hiring workers.
The facility opened it's application process Monday and will continue until the end of the week.
People can turn in applications at the Alabama Skills Centers in Troy, Ozark, Enterprise and Dothan.
Once the applications are received, they'll be screened and initial interviews will begin to be scheduled by mid-November.
Work on the distribution center began in May of last year. Officials say they expect thousands of applications and it will take some time to work through them.
About 600 employees will be hired through March when the distribution center will receive it's first shipments of products.
The center has already completed the bulk of it's managerial hiring.
