Next Monday night, the public is invited to add input on the future look of Florala State Park.

The park is located along the banks of Lake Jackson.

The 500-acre lake has been described by environmentalists as one of the most pristine, fresh water bodies in the southeast.

Recently, state and local officials discussed plans for a multi-million dollar upgrade of the 40-year-old park.

It could even include a large amphitheater for stage productions.

A state delegation will host the hearing at the Masonic Lodge in downtown Florala. It gets underway 6PM Monday night.
