Health officials in Baldwin County said the death occurred at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley.
Earlier this week, state health officials said an 81-year-old Gulf Shores man died from the mosquito-borne virus.
In July, an elderly Talladega County woman became the first person in the nation to die from the West Nile virus.
