A 63-year-old man was killed when he and two other men were struck by a vehicle as they rode their bicycles.

Sheriff's deputies say Leon Hamer died at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, hours after the crash.

Officials say Hamer was riding with two friends when all three were struck by a Mercedes driven by 34-year-old Raj Motwani of Fort Lauderdale.

The other two bicyclists were also taken to the hospital non life-threatening injuries.

Broward sheriff's traffic homicide investigators are trying to piece together the circumstances of the collision; Motwani has not been charged.
