A 6-year-old girl was critically injured in a south Augusta house fire that killed her mother, sister and cousin.
Authorities say Shakira Rouse remains in intensive care at the Medical College of Georgia Children's Medical Center.
Shakira's mother, 36-year-old Yolanda Hankerson; 9-year-old sister, Laquisha Rouse; and a 4-year-old cousin, Zyon Nelson, died.
Hankerson died at the fire scene on Kevin Drive, and the two children died Saturday at the hospital.
Richmond County Fire Lt. Carlton Bradley says firefighters found Hankerson's body in the kitchen, where it appeared she had tried to extinguish a fire on the stove.
