Police are investigating after four people were found slain in a home in Hueytown, outside Birmingham.

Hueytown Police Chief Chuck Hagler says the killings are believed to have happened early Saturday.

The bodies of the two men and two women were found around 11 a.m. Saturday.

Hagler says a person of interest was taken into custody.

Hagler says the victims were all in their 20s but their identities were not immediately released.

Hagler told The Birmingham News there was evidence of drug use in the home but that it was too early to say if drugs played a role in the deaths.
