Read Across America Day was celebrated at Rucker Blvd. Elementary School in Enterprise today.

Read Across America Day was celebrated at Rucker Blvd. Elementary School in Enterprise today.
Prominent members of the community took time out of their schedules to visit classrooms and read their favorite children's books to students.
The event is to encourage children to embrace reading and include it in their daily lives.
The event is scheduled every year on Dr. Suess's birthday. Dr. Suess would be celebrating his 105th birthday today.
Former Alabama football player and current New England Patriots player Wesley Britt attended the event and read his favorite children's book to the students.
