The Jackson County Sheriff's Department is warning merchants to be on the lookout for counterfeit money.
Fake $100, $50 and $20 bills have turned up during the past week or so.
The United States Secret Service is assisting with the case.
Anyone with information about the bogus bills or who might be passing them should call the Jackson County Sheriff's Department or Crimestoppers.
A reward is being offered.
