A Troy man has died following a shooting incident that happened earlier this month.
Twenty-one-year-old Mario Williams was pronounced dead Monday at a Birmingham hospital.
According to police reports, he was critically wounded July 11 during an altercation with 27-year-old Shedrick Williams.
Investigators say the two men were not related and no charges have been filed, but evidence in the case will be presented to a Pike County Grand Jury.
