Police have found the man they say is responsible for taking an 11-year-old boy from his family's front yard.
At around 9:30 AM Monday morning, the boy was playing outside his mother's Kinston apartment.
Area children say a man pulled up in a car, he told the boy that he would take him to a convenience store down the road, but they then disappeared.
The boy was returned safely to his home just after noon Tuesday, more than 24-hours after he was taken.
Twenty-four-year-old Jason Fillingim was arrested late Wednesday afternoon in the Andalusia area.
He is charged with second-degree kidnapping and is also charged with theft in Covington County.
Fillingim is being held in the Covington County Jail and was ordered held on bonds totaling $120,000.
