Police in Troy say at approximately 5:00 PM on Monday, the bodies of a missing Troy couple, Wilbur Gillis Chancellor, 54, and Shelia Joyce Chancellor, 59, were discovered.
A man cutting hay saw the couples' van on Smart Road near Pike County Road 2262 and contacted the Pike County Sheriff's Department.
The Chancellors were last seen in Troy on the afternoon of June 6. Troy Police have been attempting to locate the couple since they were reported missing by a family member on June 8.
Authorities say, at this time, that foul play is not suspected.
The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences will perform autopsies to determine the exact cause of death.
