Late Friday, about 100 employees at Fleming Foods Geneva Division received their pink slips.
At one time, Fleming was the nation's second largest food wholesaler.
But, earlier this year, the Texas based company filed for federal bankruptcy protection.
The Geneva Plant was one of more than a dozen facilities operated by Fleming. It is scheduled to close July 31.
