The third of six Bay County Jail inmates originally charged with second degree murder in the beating and stomping death of another prisoner has pleaded no contest to a lesser charge.
Jeremiah Samuel Hinsey will face a 10-year prison sentence.
He pled guilty to manslaughter in the October 6th death of 18-year-old Chad Littles.
Investigators said Littles was killed by inmates who mistakenly believed he was an informant.
In a deal with prosecutors, Hinsey also agreed to testify against the three remaining co-defendants.
Two other defendants who pleaded to reduced charges last month are to receive five-year prison terms after all the cases have been resolved.
Hinesy's sentencing is tentatively set for Sept. 22.
