Members of the Houston County Sheriff's Department plan to pick Jackson up at the Dekalb County Jail and bring him back to Dothan sometime next week.
Meanwhile, a man wanted for several crimes, including a shooting in Slocomb, decided not to fight his extradition back to Alabama.
Salazar Guillermo is now behind bars at the Geneva County Jail.
Authorities transported the 33-year-old from the Holmes County Jail in Bonifay.
On Wednesday, Salazar was arrested near Esto after a three-day search through a heavily wooded stretch of land along the state line.
Guillermo is now awaiting his first appearance on several charges, which include burglary, theft of property and criminal mischief.
