The Houston County Circuit Court ranks top among its peers in the state.
Twentieth Circuit judges were recognized by Chief Justice Drayton Nabers for reducing the backlog of cases in the circuit.
This put the circuit ranking fourth in the state.
“We're very pleased that we've had this record. Of course, this circuit has been doing well over the past few years, and this goes to prove that we're working for the community,” said Judge Honorable Lawson Little, of another wiregrass circuit ranked among the top in the state.
The 33rd circuit came in third. That circuit covers Dale and Geneva Counties.
